Wicket in Action

A comprehensive guide for Java developers building Wicket-based web applications

A dummy’s guide to Wicket on Netbeans TV

Discovered a link through Twitter between all the cricket match reports (yes there is still a place on the ‘net where Wicket doesn’t mean web framework). Netbeans TV features “A dummy’s guide to Wicket”.

Or watch it on the Netbeans TV website!

  2. This is really great!

I’ve got a question, because when I type:

    final Auto..

I don’t get any suggestions and also it’s marked as a failure. NetBeans says create a class, when I exactly type what you typed.

So, do I need any other plugIns? Ajax Plugins or whatever?Or any Imports?

I’ve got NetBeans 6.7.1 and addet following WICKET plugIns:

    - Wicket as a Library (Wicket 1.4 RC1 Library)
    - Wicket File Templates (File template for Wicket framework)
    - JavaFX SDK for Windows (Provides access to JavaFX SDK for Windows)

Would be really great if you could help me.

    Thanks.

  3. Hi MME,
Add the wicket extensions jar to your project. (downloaded as part of main wicket .zip)
Its not included as part of the plugin.
